It’s been 27 months since we started our Barrett Hills Neighborhood Associationthe and formed our Jan Park Neighborhood Committee to save Jan Park. Memories…..We started our initial effort with the first meeting on a hot summer day at Joyce’s front lawn 27 months ago where over 40 neighbors meet. I remember that day like it was yesterday 
It’s been an amazing journey for the Jan Park Neighborhood Committee. This effort to save the park would not have been possible without the help of our WONDERFUL neighbors. THANK YOU

Park Dedication Ceremony, Face Painting, Games, Contests & Arts & Crafts, Children’s Parade, Clowns, Boys Scout Troop raising of the flag, Music by Mary’s Daughter, CA Native Plant Society’s Animal Scat Game, Seeds of Love (1st annual event of spreading of wildflower seeds in selected areas of the park) Plus you get to check out the new features of the park – walking trails, an adventure playground, family picnic sites, and a small turf area for informal play.
